My journey in photography began as a child with my grandfather's vintage camera, discovered in the loft and taken on holiday on a trip through France. Many of the subjects I sought out then are not dissimilar to those of today. I capture things that move me and amuse me; subjects that trigger an emotional response. I love the complexity of natural light, and I am inspired by nature's natural architectural forms. My animal portraits are a celebration of the less photographed and often less appreciated of the animal kingdom, sometimes a name and sometimes a number. I endeavour to capture each unique character's charm and to trigger a response within you, the viewer.
